About Us.
GREGORY J. GOREMr. Gore graduated from Penn State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Education. After graduation, he worked in publishing in New York City as a technical writer and editor for five years.
Mr. Gore then attended Franklin Pierce law Center, a law school specializing in intellectual property law, graduating in 1978 with a Juris Doctor degree. In addition to being admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Mr. Gore was admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney in 1980 and began his patent practice in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Since 1980 Mr. Gore has been a practicing intellectual property attorney focusing on patent law in a variety of disciplines. Mr. Gore has successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and chemical fields.
CATHERINE A. CAVELLAMs. Cavella graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Long Beach in 1989 with a Bachelor of Music in cello performance. She continued her education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she focused on trademark, copyright and corporate law.
After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 1992 she was admitted to the California Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1993 she opened her own practice in Century City, California, where she focused on trademark, copyright and entertainment matters.
In 2007 Ms. Cavella moved to Philadelphia and began working with Gregory J. Gore in his intellectual property practice. In 2008 she was admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and joined Gregory J. Gore & Associates as a partner.
